Jennie Geraldine JARAMILLO Jennie G. Jaramillo of Seattle, WA beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister died peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 22, 2012. She was born October 14, 1936, in Seattle, WA and grew up in the Riverside community of West Seattle. She married Silvestre "Jerry" Jaramillo and together for 53 years they built a loving home and raised their eight children. She was a founding member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School and Church in 1960, a 26 year volunteer of Saint Vincent DePaul and a 55 year member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America. She loved her family and friends, dedicating her life to her strong Catholic faith, being constantly involved in all her children's and grandchildren's sports, school and family activities. She enjoyed all sports, especially Seattle's teams, and playing slots at casinos. Her greatest gift, above all, was her unconditional love and selfless devotion to her children. Jennie was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Clara (Zuvela) Plenkovich. Jennie is survived by her husband Jerry, children Frank (Kristina), Paul (Patty), Steve (Chris), Paula, Larry, Mary (Todd), Denise (Marc), and Dan (Rebekah), 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister Pearl (Plenkovich) Storino, brothers Paul, Robert, and Tom Plenkovich, Uncle Frank Zuvela (Sharon), and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A vigil will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe (OLG) Catholic Church 7000 35th Avenue Southwest in Seattle on Thursday January 26 at 7pm and funeral mass at OLG on Friday January 27 at 10am. A reception celebrating Jennie's life will follow at the OLG hall and there will be an internment at Holyrood Cemetery in Shoreline.
