Jeremy Scott NOKES Born May 4, 1987 in Edmonds; passed away February 12, 2011 at age 23. Jeremy is survived by his wife, Briana Doyle; parents, Richard Nokes and Barbara Sjostrom-Nokes; sister, Kristina, and brother, Joshua; paternal grandmother, Barbara Nokes-Keith and maternal grandmother, Gwendoline Sjostrom. Viewing will be Friday, February 18, 10:00AM-8:00PM and Funeral Service Saturday, February 19, 2:00PM; with viewing also Sunday February 20, 12:00 PM-5:00 PM; all at the Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home 11111 Aurora Ave North, Seattle. I am very saddened by the passing of Jeremy. I have fond memories of our time spent at Sunset, Einstein, and Shorewood. Jeremy was a great person who seemed to always enjoy making people laugh. His memory will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace.

Jeremy was a dear friend of mine in elementary school, I am so sorry about this loss and am absolutely stunned... Words cannot describe the sympathy I feel towards jeremy's family... I remember his father very clearly and I am so sorry that you have to go through this... Just remember you are not alone.. Jeremy was very loved and will remain very loved... For Jeremy and his parents:
Jeremy was such a great guy. He was the only one who ever apologized to me after making fun of me once in high school. On that day he demonstrated the massive amount of great moral character that he had and the compassion he had for others. We became classroom friends and had many laughs. I'll always remember his smile. He will be greatly missed and I feel fortunate to have known him.

Dear all who knew and cared for Jeremy,
I am so sorry for your loss, it is felt by many who were fortunate enough to know Jeremy. I remember him most from our days at Sunset as being fun, compassionate, and always up for an adventure. He was a good person, and a kind person to all.

Just heard of your tragic loss. I haven't seen Jeremy since senior year at Shorewood, but have so many memories of him throughout our twelve years of school together. He always had a smile on his face and was kind to everyone he came in contact with. I can't imagine what sadness you all are experiencing. My heart and my prayers go out to the Nokes family. Jeremy always had a way of making me laugh, smile, and remember how to be silly. I will never forget him, and I will never forget what it means to be thankful. I know in my heart of hearts... he was thankful for his family. His many good friends. I won't forgot how every time you saw me you asked first about Dylan, and were truly interested in my answer to your query. Jeremy was the man! He was one of my closest friends and by far the most entertaining to talk with. He was classic with his words, very blunt, sarcastic, yet deep. He challenged me to think differently and see the world in every way possible, and to not be narrow minded. It was always a battle-of-the-wits kind of moment with him around. You are 'unforgetable' Jeremy Nokes. I will miss you immensely bro.
