Jerrie F. ANDO Jerrie Ando of Kirkland passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 9th, 2012 at the age of 87. She was born in Seattle August 25, 1924 and attended Franklin High School. Jerrie was happily married to Alex Ando for61 years who preceded her in death in 2003. Jerrie and Al were relocated to the Minidoka Internment camp in Idaho during World War II. After the War the couple lived in Idaho and Eastern Washington before settling in Kirkland in 1950. A devoted mother and grandmother, Jerrie loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman who enjoyed sharing activitieswith her family. She enjoyed life and truly lived her life to its fullest. Survivors include her sons Richard, of Sammamish and Gary, of Freeland; daughter Janice of Mercer Island; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A celebration of Jerrie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. ** This Saturday, May 12th ** at the Juanita Community Club, 10327 100th Ave NE., Kirkland.
