Jessie Ann LARSON|
Born February 10, 1949 died in her home May 11, 2013.
From the moment of life, to her death she was a wave of joy and energy touching all she met. Jessie came from a large combined family. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Kathryn Peden, nephew, Rudy Peden, and father, Rudolph Peden. She is survived by her beloved Step-mother, Margaret Peden, and eight siblings and step-siblings, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jessie was loved by many people, her family, co-workers, friends, neighbors, and Friends of Bill W.
Jessie worked many years in the Alaskan fishing industry as Co-Skipper on the Sirocco with a love of her life, David Larson.
Jessie worked at Virginia Mason as a surgical technologist for nine years. This was a later in life career change, she used to laugh and say, even as a rookie in the operating room with her approach to life, (Loud, Outgoing, Happy) her peers thought she was this older experienced tech. Nothing intimidated her.
She loved animals, especially her dogs, which have all gone on before her, on her off days she went to the Animal Shelter to walk and care for the strays. She loved gardening and never lived anywhere without planting tomatoes and strawberries. She will be profoundly missed.
A memorial service is scheduled for May 25th at 11:00 at the Evergreen Church, 17700 1st Ave S. Burien, WA 98148. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for expenses are gratefully accepted and can be made to any Boeing Employees Credit Union, at Jessie Larson Benevolent Fund.
