I am so devastated to hear of John's passing. He worked on our house several times and on other house projects I was involved in over the last few years. I always looked forward to seeing him and always made time to stop and chat. He radiated calmness and stability and was very comforting to have as a team member. His gentle disposition and highly competent skills were an asset to the jobs he worked on. A quiet man who made a big splash. He will be very much missed. My deepest condolences to his wife and family.

Bonnie, I knew your husband in college and it broke my heart to learn of his passing. He was part of my life then and I will never forget him. His smile would make my day! I was lucky to have known him and wish you peace with your memories.

My sympathy to John's family. In middle school and high school he was mature beyond his years. He was always nice to everyone, especially when we were doubting ourselves.

Bonnie and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing. He was truly such a beautiful soul. I admired his loving spirit and unwavering faith. John always had kind and encouraging words for all, an upbeat, positive attitude, and was absolutely selfless in his support of those around him…even in the face of adversity. And in the short time our group has had the honor of getting to know him, he has touched us deeply and although he is gone, he will never be forgotten in our hearts.

Being an oncology nurse, there are many people who come and go - but there are a special few who come and stay. John and Bonnie are the special kind. I will always remember the love shown in the room by all; I'll remember John and Bonnie fighting for each quality moment; and I'll especially remember John's smile - making everyone else feel special. Thank you for letting me share this precious time of John's life.
