John Richard BEAUMIER Obituary
John Richard BEAUMIER

Born January 24, 1957 in Seattle, WA to Carol and Robert Beaumier, the third of four sons. He passed away Saturday, July 7th, while on vacation with family and friends. He grew up in Olympia, WA and Portland, Oregon graduating from Central Catholic High School in 1975 and received his B.A. in Business from Oregon State University in 1980. He served in the Philippines in the Peace Corps, where he met his wife, Jeanette, who he married in 1984. The couple made their home in Woodinville, WA. Early in his career John worked as a real estate loan officer and at Boeing. In 2000, John was awarded a Bachelor's of Nursing Science and joined his wife as a registered nurse. John worked on the orthopedic floor at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle since that time.

John was a skilled musician, an excellent flutist, a member of the Holy Innocents Catholic Church Choir, and the Woodinville Community Band. John loved to perform music with his family and friends and his mother, Carol, who was his musical inspiration. John loved the deep forests, the glaciers, the high alpine country and the glorious vistas of his hikes and climbs. He climbed hundreds of major and minor peaks in Washington State with his brothers and friends, including Dale Flynn. John lived each moment to the fullest, was a positive, exuberant, energetic, and religious person. He was a great source of inspiration and unconditional love for his family, extended family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sr., and is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jeanette, and his children Esther and Morgan, his mother Carol, and his brothers, Paul (Audrey), Robert Jr. (Marian) and James (Holly) Beaumier and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to the Pacific County Fire District 1 (P.O. Box 890, Ocean Park, WA 98640). John would wish those who remember him to be organ donors, giving the gift of life to others as he did.

A celebration of John's life will be at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Duvall, WA on August 25th at a time to be announced later.
