Joseph Kirk Testu

Joseph Kirk Testu, 93, of Belfair, Washington, passed away peacefully from complications of pneumonia on January 24, 2013. Joe was born on September 25, 1919 to Homer and Jeanette Testu in Dobson, Montana.

He was an alumnus of Holy Rosary School, O'Dea High School and Seattle University, where he majored in engineering. Joe worked at Kenworth Motor Company for 35 years in Marketing and International Sales, was a seasoned Toastmaster, and active in many community and non-profit organizations. Joe will best be remembered by his incredible love of family and his fabulous sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Virginia (Kennedy) Testu, his sons Timothy and Terrence Testu, and great grandson Reilly Rumsey. He is survived by his daughter Kathleen Kelly (Richard), Seattle; son Kirk, Bremerton; daughter Jo Testu-Rumsey (Jeff Rumsey), Bothell; son Matthew, Belfair; and son Mark, Seattle. Joe leaves 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, sister Geraldine Coughlin, Renton, and daughter-in-law Phy Migas, Hoodsport, and dozens of nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

A private family memorial will be held. Remembrances can be made to North Mason Food Bank.
