Karen Axon Obituary

Karen AXON 67 years young, passed away Janu ary 18th 2011, in Seattle, Washington after a heroic battle with cancer. She was born in Colfax, WA. to Albert and Norva Fox. She was preceded in death by her brother, DeeWayne Neal and sister, Lorraine Root. She is survived by her spouse of 44 years, Richard; three children, Troy, Marcey and Darcey; two grandchil dren, Gabriel and Adrian; brother, Dan; many loving extended family and friends. Private family services were held. In lieu of flowers, memo rials may be made in her honor to March of Dimes or American Cancer Society. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her and will forever live on in our hearts. Please sign the online guest book at www.washelli.com

KAREN WAS VERY CLOSE TO US. KEVAN AND I TOOK HER TO LUNCH ON LAKE UNION MANY TIMES. SHE WAS SO PROUD OF HER FAMILY. SHE WAS A VERY HARD WORKER AND WAS LIKED BY EVERYONE. WE WILL ALL MISS HER SO VERY MUCH.!!!!!!! I SPENT 34 YEARS AT PEMCO AND MY SON KEVAN 15 YEARS UNTIL HE OPENED BROOKS INSURANCE GROUP IN ISSAQUAH 10YEARS AGO ..... BECAUSE OF MY DISABILITY I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE OPEN HOUSE FOR KAREN BUT WE EXTEND ALL OUR LOVE VERN AND KEVAN BROOKS 206 356 8383

KAX has been a very dear friend for many years, and we will always remember her for all of her kindness and generousity. Our thoughts and prayers are will all of you at this difficult time. The battle was hard and you fought hard. Rest in peace "our friend", as you have earned it.
