I worked with Katherine almost eight years at the Department of
Corrections. She was one of the most amazing people I have ever met. Never have I known a person with such integrity and decency.
You didn't have to be around Katherine very long to know about her passion for her pets and friends. In spite of her difficult childhood, she had an amazingly uplifting way about her. She was always quick to laugh and boy was she loyal!
Our world has lost a wonderful soul. I am so saddened by her passing, but I also am relieved for her that she is no longer suffering with the chronic pain she indured.
I treasure the good times I had with her.

Kathy .. you moved and I moved .. and lost touch over the past 4 years. You introduced me to Scotties and changed my life forever .. for that you will always be in my heart! You are in my heart!
