Kathryn Andersen Obituary

Kathryn Elizabeth ANDERSEN Kathryn Elizabeth Andersen, 100 years old, passed away in Shoreline, WA on February 16, 2011. She was born in Renovo, PA on June 7, 1910. Kathryn moved to Sedro Woolley when she was 2 years old and to Seattle when she was 7 years with her parents, Robert and Lena Norie, and sister Martha. She married Eugene Andersen on June 18, 1932. Kathryn enjoyed maintaining a wonderful home and gardening at her Seattle home of 60 years, bowling, playing cards, and bingo. In later life, her interests included reading, doing puzzles, and watching sports, particularly the Mariners. Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Karen (Ron) Hosking, grandchildren Julie Hosking and Jeffrey (Nicole) Hosking, nieces Joanne Bowie and Arlene Bittrick, nephews John Woodworth, David Kerzie, and Richard Brevick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, and daughter, Marilyn. At her request, there will be no services.
