I too met Keki in 1962 a the U of W. He was a powerhouse of energy wanting to do everything all at one time. We met in a group of foreign students called foundation for international understanding and the rest is history. We too became fast friends. Dancing, group dating, and visiting my parents on holidays.
I went shopping with him many times and we always were in the boys clothes. He had one of those sizes we would love to have now. Keki was interested in learning about Jesus and to that end we both went to Christian Bible study groups.
The one thing Keki loved was the story of the Littlest Angel , a record I played for him one Christmas Eve at my folks home. He loved that story and I finally gave him the old 78 recording I had from my youth. He was and still is my dearest friend and star in the sky.

I first got to know Keki Kercy Mistry in 1962, when we were fellow students studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Washington. We quickly became good friends, and together took part in numerous activities over a period of almost five decades.
Sylvia, of course, was also part of most of the activities. I met Keki's
parents and sister in Mumbai; and Keki and Sylvia have met all of the members
and extended members of my family.
Keki was always cheerful and witty and was a lot of fun to be with. My wife, Dolores and I, and all the members of our families will miss Keki Mistry. Keki usually provided that 'spark' that made parties and get togethers a lot of fun.

Keki was a wonderful uncle who will always be fondly remembered by all of the family. He had a warm and caring way about him and always enoyed a good laugh. He was a gentleman at all times and a pretty snappy dresser too. A devoted man of God who we know is now in heaven. He will be missed. The Rob Hallum family, Everett, WA.
