Kenneth R. THOMAS Jr. Ken Thomas left us peacefully with loving family by his side on the afternoon of April 26, 2012 after a fierce and lengthy battle with pancreatitis. Born in Boston on February 20, 1962, Ken moved to the west coast while in grade school. As a child Ken lived in Seattle while spending summers with his grandparents in New York. As an adult, Ken lived in both Portland and San Francisco. While Ken embraced San Francisco as his home, he always felt a deep connection with Seattle. Ken's work often required him to travel all over the country. While in Alaska on one such job, Ken met the love of his life, Tim Pursell. They were together for only 6 short years, but in that time, Ken was devoted to Tim and loved him dearly. Ken was a kind, warm-hearted man whose passion for life was too quickly extinguished. He will be truly missed by his family and friends who loved him deeply. Survived by his partner Tim, mother Jan, stepmother Lindy and siblings Evelyn, Brian, Sharon and Tom. He is preceded in death by his father Ken Sr. and his grandparents, Evelyn and Ralph. Ken was a man of many cities with close family and friends all over the country. Memorial services will be held in the multiple locations, including a celebration in Seattle. Please visit http://www.rememberken.net to celebrate Ken's life, share your memories, and find a memorial service close to you.
