Kerry Susan (Jackson) Harpster|
Kerry was a beautiful, intelligent, loving woman who had a wonderful dry sense of humor. She was the center of strength for her family and was always steadfast in the most challenging times.
Her legacy enriches all that knew her and will be the reminder and example of what it is to live a good life. There is a saying that what we do in life echoes in eternity. May we all feel the echo of her love, grace, and bravery.
Kerry died with dignity on September 7th, surrounded by the love of her husband Michael Hoodes, daughter Kristin Harpster, son Jubal Harpster and daughter-in-law, Roxane. Kerry will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Georgia, Henry, Nadine and Jesse.
"If I wake up in heaven and learn that you wrote an obituary, I'll be very upset".
We hope she was kidding.
Donations can be made in Kerry's name to the cancer unit at Children's Hospital.
