Kurt W. Morgan

Kurt W. Morgan, 50, of Everett, WA, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2012 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He was born in Seattle on May 9th, 1962 to parents Alvin C. Morgan & Dolores J. Morgan. Kurt is survived by his 3 sons, Trevor, Quinn & Kai of Kirkland, mother, Dolores J. Morgan of Camano Island, brother Al Morgan (Kim) of Stanwood, sister Cindy (Jim) Armstrong of Boise, ID. His extended family also includes stepmom, Sherrye Morgan of Olympia, WA, brother Mark Morgan & stepsisters Michelle & Jennifer, as well as his cherished niece & nephews & longtime girlfriend, Judy Wegman, numerous good friends, including "Ollie" his beloved little dog. Kurt graduated from Capitol HS in Olympia & attended Shoreline CC where he studied music. All those who knew & loved Kurt will miss his amazing voice that was part of The Seattle Opera for 2 years. He worked for GTE/Verizon/Frontier Communications for 25 years & was well known for his strong work ethic, huge smile & his signature "sign off" on his completed jobs as " Looks Good" " Works Good"!! Kurt's greatest source of pride were his 3 boys & he spent as much time with them as possible. They will miss those Wednesday ice cream nights, but have great memories of weekends past. Kurt had the heart of a lion & a sweet soul & will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his father Alvin C. Morgan. A memorial will be held on Sunday, September 9th @ 1:00 p.m. at the Lynnwood Convention Center.
