Lawrence Schweitzer, born

8-3-1920 in Hague, North Dakota, the oldest son of 13 siblings; died on November 19 at the age of 92. He served in the Navy during WWII and was proud to recount his adventures on the USS Enterprise, participating in 100 major battles in the Pacific. At the end of the war, he settled in the greater Seattle area, retiring as a self-employed electrical contractor. Larry is survived by daughters Susan, Patty (Bill) and son John (Kit), grandchildren Corrine, Ken (Melina), Denise (Sean), Jennifer (Troy) and Daniel (Kit), and ten great-grandchildren, siblings Dorothy, Fabian, Joe and Tootie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 23, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Renton, Washington. Internment at Tahoma National Cemetery with two of his brothers, Tony and Claude.
