Leona Belle (Bray) GALL Leona was born in Elma, WA on 06/05/1921. She died peacefully in Woodinville, WA on 01/27/2011.Leona was not one to seek attention and did not like fanfare. She really did not want an obituary. But, too bad Mom, your sons want the world to know about you. Leona was the most fantastic mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, friend, volunteer, and employee in the world. She graduated from Elma High School in 1939, and Washington State College (WSU) in 1943. She was a loyal Cougar all of her life. She met Arthur (Bud) Gall while teaching high school in Cusick, WA.They married and moved to Redmond, WA in 1945. She lived in Redmond, Kirkland, and Woodinville, WA for the rest of her life. She worked in banking for 25 years, starting as a part-time bookkeeper and finishing as a bank officer in charge of Operations and Personnel. After retiring at age 61, she volunteered at the Kirkland Senior Center for 5 years, and the Northshore Senior Center for 22 years. She thoroughly enjoyed her time and all of the people at the Senior Center. She especially enjoyed all the trips she took with her sister Verna. She is survived by two sons, James (Andrea), and Steve (Dedee) Gall. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Ivan, Michelle, Karin, Cindy, Andrew and Elizabeth. She is also survived by Steve's former wife Judy Gall (like a daughter), four great grandchildren, and her sister Lois Bean, and brothers Perry Bray and Carl Bray. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arther (Bud), her son Gene and seven brothers and sisters. It was a great 89-1/2 years, lots of love and lots of laughs. God bless you Mom. At Leona's request, there is no memorial service. Please make any donations in her memory to the Northshore Senior Center. Our very special thanks to her long-time friend, Pat Mitzel, Evergreen Hospice, and Cheryl Richardson (her caregiver). To The Entire Gall Family (including Denise),
I never met your mother, but the love and respect Denise had for her means she must have been one heck of a woman. I'm sure she will be missed by all who loved her.
Sincerely,

Steve and Jim, I was so sorry to hear about your mom. Paul and I had hoped to see her last summer when he was out, but didn't get to. I remember her fondly from my childhood and always admired her very ladylike and cheerful attitude. Cousin Dede (Verlene) Bray Morrison

Sorry Mom, I forgot to mention your other wonderful daughter in law, Denise Gall (Gene's widow). She has also been one of the outstanding members of the family. Love, Jim
