Loretta Rosario ALMAJOSÉ May 22, 1959 ~ April 24, 2012 Lori AlmaJosé passed away at her home in Bellevue, WA after an 8 month battle with cancer. Lori was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to José Portillo AlmaJosé and Josefina Ledesma AlmaJosé. She is the 3rd of 5 children. She has lived in Bellevue since 1963. Lori graduated from Newport High School in Bellevue in 1977. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics) from the U.W. in 1982 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Seattle Univ. in 1987 (President's List). Lori built a successful 34-year career with the U.S. Postal Service, starting as a working college student and rising to the level of Manager of Delivery and Customer Service Programs for the Seattle District. Lori took exceptional care of her family, her health, and her home. She traveled the world and she lived her faith. Lori is survived by her father José, siblings Annie Gochenour, Tina and David Soike, Chris AlmaJosé, and Carmen AlmaJosé, niece and nephews Bryan Gochenour, Adrianne and Derek Soike, and Michael Soike, and many friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sat. May 5, 11:00 a.m. atSt. Madeleine Sophie Catholic Church, 4400 - 130th Place SE, Bellevue. A reception will follow at the Church.
