Lorraine Early Obituary
Beloved mother, sister and grandmother, Lorraine Early passed away in Shoreline on January 8, 2015. She was born in Seattle, WA on April 10, 1925 to Ragnar and Dorothy Jacobsen. Lorraine was a devoted, longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. She received title of Worthy Matron from these chapters: Occidental #28 OEA on March 16th 1949, Northgate #254 OES on Sept. 18th 1969, Hatasu #1 D.N. on Oct. 21st 1977, Ahmes Crt #41 LOS. on Oct. 11th 1978, Richmond Crt. #72, Amaranth on Nov. 16th 1995 and Rada Uphus # 208 OES on Nov. 18th 1996. Lorraine was also Grand Rep. in 1985 and Worthy Matron several times (1973 and 1982). She also had many Grand offices in her Masonic groups.
Preceded in death by her husband, Donald and son, Raymond. She is survived by her son, Mark (Teri) Early; her sister, Beverly Haggard; her nieces, Teresa (Chris) Gilbert and Debra (Tom) Caples; her grandchildren, Lisa and Summer; her great grandson, Damon and several friends and relatives.
Viewing 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 22nd and Friday 10 am until service time at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home. Funeral service 11:30 am on Friday, January 23rd in the Tribute Center/Chapel at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home. Remembrances may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
