Lu was a courageous individual. He loved to 'keep 'em laughin' Friday nights at Pogacha. He was the most humorous and fun loving dinner companion we've ever enjoyed. Friday nights at Pogacha will never be the same.....we'll miss him. Ron and Suzan

Lu was a good man in his own way. He could floor you with a snakebite truth and on a dime give you words of encouragement. Some of the funniest moments was dinning out with him and having a scotch on the rocks or having to wake him up during a movie. For me personally Lu gave me some much-needed confidence at a time when I really needed it. You will be missed D2.

Bob and I will forever miss Lu, his irreverent sense of humor, biting wit, and excellent scotch whiskey. Forever more at every Slava, I will remember him as we "spin the biscuit," a phrase he once said and is forever etched in our memory. Memory Eternal Good Friend ~ we will miss you!

Lu will be remembered for his wit and not so subtle ability to tell it like he saw it. He was a pleasure to work and socialize with during my time at Crescent.

George and Family,I will miss my conversations with "Uncle Lu". I will remember his honesty and his dry sense of humor. He lived his life with dignity.

I have so many wonderful memories of "Uncle Lu." We weren't related by blood, but we didn't need that to define our bond as family. "Uncle Lu" cheered me on throughout my childhood, the teenage years, high school graduation, the Miss Redmond Pageant and my run for Miss Seafair. I know in my heart that the most important gift he ever gave me, were the wise words after the pageants. He said "life offers opportunities to grow. This is one of those times. True success is measured by the courage you've shown to face your fears." Thoughout my life, I have never forgotten those kind, loving words. I loved his humor and his ability to be honest because he always spoke his truth. I will always carry him near my heart. I love you Uncle Lu.

"Uncle Lu" will be truly missed. He had a very kind heart, an infectious sense of humor, and was someone I could always trust.
To me an important measure of a person's character is the duration and depth of their friendships. Uncle Lu excelled in both, and offered a warm and open heart to many.
I celebrate you Lu, and will always cherish your spirit.

I'm sorry to hear of Lu's passing. Went through school with him from Kindergarten to senior year at Roosevelt, and saw him for many years after when he worked for Crescent.
My condolences to George and family.
