Lynn GAUDETTE Obituary

Lynn B GAUDETTE Lynn, B Gaudette of Kent was born May 27, 1925 in Moxee City, WA to Agna E (Lafontaine) and Henry J Gaudette. He passed away in his sleep at the age of 85 on February 25, 2011. He learned the value of hard work early on by spending his summers in working with his father in the family's auto repair business. Following High School, Lynn joined the US Navy from May 1943 to April 1946 serving as a machinist on the USS Achena, USS Farragut and the USS Willard Keith. After his Honorable Discharge from the US Navy he worked for the Boeing Company for 35 years until his retirement in 1991. During his retirement years Lynn passed the time by traveling with his wife Florence to various fishing holes throughout the Pacific Northwest. Lynn is survived by his wife of 59 years Florence; sister-in-law Irene (Ernie) Culp; brother-in-law; Nick (Lois) Brian, brother-in-law Scotty Brian, all of Yakima, WA, and nephews Allen Culp of Puyallup, WA & Steven Culp of North Bend, WA. Thank you to the staff's of Daystar Retirement Village and Burien Nursing Rehabilitation in taking care of Lynn over the past year. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Internment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery.
