Marc Griffin went to be with Jesus on Nov. 11th after a brave battle with cancer. He was at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Marc joined the Army at the age of 17 and was a proud member of the 101st Airborne Division. After four years in the service, Marc rode his bicycle from Ohio to Seattle where he lived most of his life. He loved sharing stories about his many adventures. Marc worked at Eldec, Boeing, and the University of Washington. He was a wonderful, loving husband and dad, an artist, and an author.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janet, his children, Bart, Drew, and Brooke Griffin, Scott McDermott, and Lisa Webb, also his mother Betty Griffin, sisters Gale Tomes and Stephany Childers and three grandchildren. He is predeceased by his father, Norman and his sister, Kim.
A memorial will be held at Canyon Creek Church located at 1122 - 75th St SW, Everett WA 98203 on Nov. 23rd at 1:00 p.m.
