Marcia Ann GREENWELL Marcia, age 64, of Peoria, AZ (formerly of Mercer Island & Sammamish, WA) passed away on January 1, 2011 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Chicago, IL on May 31st, 1946. She received her BACJ from Seattle University. Her passions were humanitarian efforts including early civil rights support, children in need, political debate and love for her family. She was a devoted & supportive wife to Robert for 45 years. Cooking was one of her joys and another was travelling with Robert anywhere. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Rob (Tomoko) and Mike (Julie); daughter Danielle (Jackie); grandchildren Desiree & Elliott; sisters, Betty (Dwight), Laura (Bill), Marilyn; brother, Al (Joanne) and numerous nieces and nephews.A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, Feb. 18th, 11:00 a.m. at St. Monica's on Mercer Island.A Celebration of her life will follow at Salty's at Alki beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your favorite charity or local hospice are greatly appreciated.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
