Margery Bathurst Obituary

Margery Haus BATHURST "I love you so much Mom. Sit with saints now where you truly belong." Forrest Age 94 of Bellevue, WA died peacefully on March 9 in the arms of her son. She was born in Seattle on April 12, 1916 to Victor and Jesse Haus, the youngest of their 7 children. The Haus family lived for years in Madrona, Capitol Hill, and Mount Baker. Marge attended Holy Names Academy and Forest Ridge Junior College. She married Frank Bathurst, Jr. in 1944 and they spent many years traveling before returning to Seattle in 1967. Marge was known for her love of fashion, her sewing skills, a natural wit, an unpretentious "elegance," and her artistic talents. She loved playing bridge and doing crosswords. Marge would love knowing that any contributions in her honor are made to Catholic Social Services with a special request for use in adoption. She knew this was the greatest gift anybody could give to an adopted Mother and child. Marge was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her son, Forrest. Please join us at a funeral mass at Sacred Heart Parish, Bellevue, on Friday, March 18, at 11:00am.
