Marjorie Loomis Brandon

Marjorie Loomis BRANDON Long-time Seattle resident, Marjorie Brandon, 90, went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2011. Marjorie was born on July 10, 1920 in Spokane, Washington. She graduated from Ballard High School in 1938. She then became a U.S. Navy nurse upon completion of the Nursing Program at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane. She married her sweetheart, Lawrence H. Brandon on September 17, 1947 in Seattle. Marjorie was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She loved her family and prayed for them on a consistent basis. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and enjoyed Bible studies at her local church. She was also very proud of her Norwegian heritage. Marjorie is remembered with love by her son, Larry Brandon (Kathy) of Deerfield Beach, Florida, her daughter, Joann Enge (David) of Lake Forest Park, Washington, her son, Paul Brandon (Denise) of Anchorage, Alaska; her five grandsons, Ryan Brandon, Kevin (Heather) Brandon, Jeffrey Enge, Timothy Brandon, Daniel Brandon; her great-granddaughter, Anabelle Brandon; beloved sister-in-law, Mary Jane Loomis; her nieces: Janie, Carol, Stephanie, Debbie and their families. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence on January 11, 2002, her brother, Dr. Olin Loomis, and by her sister, Phyllis Ward. Thank you dear staff at Nordic Woods Adult Family Home for your loving care given to our mother. Each one of you blessed her with your tenderness, exceptional care, and sweet spirits over these past several years.
