Martha Hansen Obituary

Martha Pauline HANSEN Born on January 9, 1916 in Spokane, WA, graduated from Ballard High School in 1934 and from The Salvation Army Training College in 1937. She spent 44 years serving as an officer which included 6 years as a missionary in India. She was a member of The Salvation Army Temple Corps and Home League in Greenwood. Preceded in death by twin sister Lena, sister Olga Peterson-Linde, brother Adolph and parents Caroline and Andrew Hansen. Survived by nieces and nephew: Marlene (Pat) O'Keefe, Cathy (Clay) Wilson, Jim (Kathi) Peterson and Jackie (Charlie) Huey and many great and great-grand nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered for her love and giving to her family. Memorial service to be held on Friday, March 18th at 1:30 p.m. at the The Salvation Army Temple, 9501 Greenwood Ave. N. Seattle. Remembrances to The Salvation Army Temple in Seattle.

We'll miss you, Martha. Thank you for showing me love and kindness each time I saw you. I'll remember all the wisdom you shared and the fun we had 'exercising' to your tape the last time we visited.
