Mary L. Kilborn Wick Obituary
Mary L. Kilborn Wick

Our mother passed away on May 8, 2014 with her daughter by her side.

She was born in Newport, Rhode Island on September 23, 1924 and came to Seattle as a young girl. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and married shortly after. She is survived by four of her five children; William Todd, Thomas Gregg, Peter Ross and Heather Marie, and four grandchildren, William Tracy, Kimberly Marie, Thomas Brett, and Kendall Marie.

Our mother was a loving, caring and giving woman who, through her strong dedication, always kept her family together even during the most difficult times. She had a beautiful smile, an infectious laugh, and lived and loved life to its fullest. She always had a kind word to share and her generosity will live on with us forever.

Throughout the years, she sacrificed so many things for her children for which we will be eternally grateful. The strength and wisdom that she instilled in us will continue to see us through. We miss her terribly, but are comforted to know she is now under the loving and watchful eye of a higher spirit.

Our mother will be laid to rest with her husband, Arthur Bernard Wick and her eldest son, James Scott Kilborn, who preceded her in death, in a mausoleum at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Ballard. Her memorial service will be held at a later date.

Please share your memories and pictures of our mother in her guest book, online in the Seattle Times, www.Legacy.com. This would be most appreciated in helping us through this difficult time and in strengthening the memory we have of our mother so she will live on with us forever.
