Mary Williams, 96 Passed away January 17, 2013 in Seattle
Mary was born October 24, 1916 in Lower Slaughter, Stow-On-The-Wold, England.
Mary was raised by her Grandma and Grandpa Williams in Cheltenham, England. She had one brother and one sister who predeceased her.
Mary came to the United States after the War in October of 1947 on the Queen Elizabeth II.
She began her career as a medical Librarian in Washington D.C., then in Chicago. After visiting the World's Fair in Seattle in 1962, Mary fell in love with the city and was offered a job at Virginia Mason as their head Medical Librarian.
Mary worked at Virginia Mason for 22 years and was very proud to have been a part of that organization.
Mary had very few living relatives, "But boy did she have friends" as she always said. Her friends were a very special part of her life.
She leaves behind all of these friends; including Jim Moore who was Mary's faithful friend for 46 years.
Mary's services will begin with viewing at 12:00pm and funeral at 1:00pm, on January 29, 2013 at the Chapel of the Resurrection Funeral Home(on the grounds of Cedar Park Church) 16300 - 112th Avenue NE, Bothell.
