M.C. Shumaker Obituary

M.C. "Cal" SHUMAKER Cal Shumaker died May 18, 2011 at the age of 90 in Spokane, Washington. Cal was born in Spokane on January 13, 1921 and was a World War II Air Force Veteran, a graduate of the University of Washington and retired from Rainier Bank as Executive Vice President. He was active in many civic organizations and served on the International Board of the Boy Scouts and as President of the Spokane Public Library Board. He loved life and lived it with grace and gusto. Cal is survived by his wife of 67 years, Beth, three children and four grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on June 16, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in Spokane at Rockwood South Hill, 2903 E. 25th Ave. The family suggests a donation to your favorite charity.

Dear Beth, We have been trying to find your telephone number to call you as we were saddened to hear of Cal's death. I do remember that you moved to a retirement community. I hope you see this and call or e-mail us. Mary Ann Mangels [email protected]
