Dear Peringer and Youssefi families:
We are very saddened at the loss of Melissa. I remember babysitting the Peringers many times; and Missy (as we knew her then) was always sweet and helpful. We reunited when our kids transferred to St. Joe's. Melissa was just as kind and welcoming then.
We hope that beautiful memories help your healing.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

To Melissa's family, I am so sorry to learn of your tremendous loss. I was on the Parent Board with Melissa at Holy Names. Although I did not know her well, there were many other moms who did; and all spoke so very highly of her.
I am a breast cancer survivor myself, so it makes my heart ache to know that Melissa lost her battle. Please know that all of you are in my prayers.

Moe, Girls and the Perringer family, we are deeply saddened by Melissa's passing. Her spirit was felt in so many ways. Her courage and your faith has been an inspiration to us all. Please accept my deepest sympathy and understand you are all in our prayers. Our friendship on Capitol Hill while growing up was only enhanced by our years together at Christ the King. We were all very lucky to call her our friend. God bless.
