Michael Griffin Obituary

Michael F. GRIFFIN Passed away on April 23rd, 2011. Michael died of natural causes at his home at the age of 59. He will be remembered as a humble man with a great capacity for empathy, and a kind and caring soul. Michael, born July 2, 1951, was a native of Kent who lived his adult life at his home on Lake Lucerne, a place where he and his four siblings enjoyed visiting their grandmother as children. Despite suffering from Polio his entire life, Michael refused to let his disability stop him from keeping pace with his peers or teaching his younger sister to swim and ride a bicycle. As an adult, Michael worked as a supervisor at Boeing, from which he retired three years ago. "Michael, we are going to miss you. We love you. Go see Nana." -Nancy and Joe

I started work here in 1985 and Mike was
the first guy I got teamed with and he showed me the Boeing way when I hired in I remember him as a happy cheerful person and was always fun to be around and the Pizza and cookies its hard to forget them it is what many other have talked about when remembering him.
The people in life that you touch is what makes you the person you are and Mike touched so many lives that I know he will not be forgotten My thoughts and Prayers go to the family in this time of sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike's family. He was a great guy and a real pleasure to work with. Mike was a co-worker and a friend.
He would bring cookies in from QFC almost every week. He knew my favorites were the snicker doodles, and there was more than one time I would know that Mike had come by my desk because there would be a sack of cookies waiting for me.
Mike, you will be missed.
