Michael Hendrix Obituary

Michael McKinley HENDRIX Our brother, known to many ofhis friends as "Mikey", died suddenly on Saint Patrick's Day,3/17/2011. Preceded in death by both parents in 2010, Bob in February and Donna in September. He is survived by brother Jeff (Jill), brother Billy, nieces Mo and Rose; cousins Pam, Dave and Cathy, and numerous friends. He was a talented finish carpenter for many years and a caregiver to Bob and Donna for the last few. A wake to celebrate Mike's life will be held at Billy's House on Friday, April 8th at 3:00 p.m. at 611 NE 204th St., Shoreline. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500 Greenwood Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98103.

Jeff (and family), Billy, and Pam (and family), I am so sorry to learn of Mikey's death, and also seeing the obituary tonight was the first I knew you had lost your parents last year. I will always hold your family (my "next door neighbor family") dear in my heart. I wish I had known sooner, I would have been at the service. Warm hugs to you all.

It has been a very hard year for you all , We didn't know Mike as an adult but did appreciate that he was faithful in caring for his parents for a number of years.
