Michael joined the Navy after graduation and served in the Pacific aboard the USS Abnaki during the final days of the Vietnam War-serving his country was a distinction he was extremely proud of throughout his entire life.

Michael had an avid interest in history and, more than anything, loved talking about our family heritages, spending time with his wide circle of family and friends.
Known as "Scott" by his siblings, he was a member of a very close family and is survived by his wife Linda, his son, Michael David, his stepdaughter, Deborah (Jason) Mallett, and his brothers Ron (Martha), Randy (Debbie), Bob (Peggy) and Brian.
