Mitch was a good friend of mine. We worked together for many years in the real estate business. He was one of those guys who always seemed to do the right thing and treated everyone with respect. To this day I miss my friend Mitch. I cant believe it has been 13 years ago yesterday. We spent countless hours on floor time, which was primarily waiting for the phones to ring, so we had a blast. I miss his sense of humor, but mostly I miss Mitch the person.

Mary:
I feel like I have been distanced from by miles, but not in thoughts and prayers. Please know I am thinking about you so much.
Your wedding day with Mitch is just like is was yesterday in my mind. Mitch was such a character! He loved you and his children so much. He will be missed.
Please let me know if I can help you my friend.
Love,
Sandy

While I didn't know Mitch well, he always had a warm and friendly smile whenever I saw him. He remained full of hope and love even as he was challenged with his health. We talked about what might be after this life and I hope that he was joyful and hopeful still. Peace to all of his family and friends.

I didn't know Mitch extremely well, but I didn't have to in order to know that he was a truly special man. I admired his work ethic & upbeat, friendly attitude everytime I ran into him. I will miss seeing him around & my deepest sympathies go out to Mary and his entire family. God bless you all & take comfort that Mitch is in heaven now & was/is loved by many.

I always thought the world of Mitch. He was always nice to me, the skinny, (at the time) nerdy girl. My thoughts and prayers are with Mitch's family. I know he is now an angel in Heaven.

I have never met such a life-driven story-telling man as Mitch. He was the delight of my day. Never a moment with him was without laughter and a smile. He was full of generosity and warmth.

Mitch,
Thank you so much for being my friend. Your guidance, love, support & encouragement made my life whole & fulfilled. I could not have made it without you. You were my role model & mentor. I loved your gentle strength, lack of ego, amazing work ethic, awesome intellect, handy man skills & athleticism. Most of all I loved your ability to forgive people who made the cruelest of mistakes & hurt you. You truly had a heart of gold.
Your spirit will never die & will be carried on by Mary, your children & all of your many, many friends & family.
We miss & love you so very very much. I really could not have had a better friend. Thank you for all the memories, I’m so proud to be your friend. You are the finest man I’ve ever known. I love being loved by you.
God Bless

Mitch was a wonderful friend and we always had fun together.
I can remember the snow we had in the winter of our senior year and sleding down Barton with Mitch and Brooks and several other friends and the many parties of fun and laughter....I will always remember him in this way.....He brought light into a room and now he is surrounded by that light.....My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends....Peace be with you.......Denise (Thomas} Heekin
