Passed away peacefully Thursday, April 4 in Seattle at the age of 81. Patricia (Patsy) Koreski was born in Yakima, WA on March 14, 1932 to Thomas Francis Koreski and Apollonia Anna Berghoff.
Patricia graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Yakima in 1950 and graduated from Seattle University in 1954 with a bachelor's degree as a Medical Records Librarian. She initially worked in medical records in Seattle, then became a stay-at-home mom to raise her three sons, before working at Holy Rosary School and Kennedy High School libraries. She was an active volunteer for many events in the parish and at school.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Edward William Kindall, and sister Lorraine Marie Mitzlaff. Patricia is survived by her three sons: Kevin, Thomas and John; brother Robert Koreski and his wife Joyce (Hine) Koreski and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church in West Seattle with reception to follow. Donations can be made to Providence Mt. St. Vincent, the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest or the Northwest Parkinson's Foundation.
