Patricia Arlene Jones (Krutsinger) passed away on September 20th 2012.
Pat was the 3rd child of 8 born to Ralph and Cleone Krutsinger on July 31, 1938 in Champaign, Illinois.
The Krutsinger family moved to Oregon briefly, and eventually settled in Seattle. While attending Queen Anne High School Pat fell in love and married her high school sweetheart Carl Jones on Jan 11th 1955. Pat and Carl eventually moved to the West Seattle area and raised their three children.
Pat was employed with the Seattle Public Schools and retired after 33 years with the Nutrition Department as the personal supervisor in 1996. Pat was an avid bowler, golfer, and loved to bake. Being a 3 time Cancer survivor she worked hard to raise funds for both Cancer research and awareness. Pat joined Gamma Delta, the Federal Way chapter of Phi Beta Psi, and was proud of the efforts being made locally and nationally through this association on behalf of Cancer studies.
She was a very loving and caring person. Their home was open to many exchange students over the years. She loved helping with food, support, transportation, first aid, love & laughter to all around her, especially in the Belmor Park Community where they've lived since 1996.
Pat is survived by her husband Carl and children Charlene Swanson (Ron), Carl (Cheryl), & Deanna Jackson (Greg). Her brother's Ralph, Michael, Phillip, and sister's Laura Holmes & Linda Richards. Her grandchildren Justin (Nichole), Sean ( Marisa ) , Brian( Jackie) ,CJ ( Kelli ), Amy(Nick ), Zachary (Meredith), Broderick, Julie (Keith), & Sarah and great grandchildren; Tyler, Anna, Haley, Cole, Ava, Evelyn, Kendrick, & Patrick.
Pat's sisters Carolyn and Connie preceded her in death, along with her parents Ralph and Cleone.
There will be a memorial from 1pm-3pm on November 18th at the Belmor Park Clubhouse.
A private tribute to Pat's Life will be conducted for family and friends on November 18th at 5 p.m.@ Belmor Park Clubhouse 2101 S. 324th St. Federal Way, WA. 98003.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Phi Beta Psi Gamma Delta (a nonprofit organization for Cancer Research) 2101 S 324th St SP # 230 Federal Way, WA. 98003.
