Paul J. BARBARUS Born August 14, 1918 in Butte, Montana, died June 2, 2007 in Seattle. A beloved husband, father and grandfather. The son of a coal minor, his family moved to Seattle when he was one year old. He attended St. George Grade School and graduated from Cleveland High School. He was a WWII veteran. In order to support his family, he put aside his dream of becoming an architect to work at Boeing where he retired after 40 years of service. An avid golfer, he took pride in maintaining his home and yard, and enjoyed following the Mariners and the Huskies. He was always willing to lend a helping hand without being asked. Paul was a devoted father and will best be remembered for his love of family. Survived by his four children, Paul M. Barbarus, Robert Barbarus, Linda Barbarus (Bruce Kramer), James (Carol) Barbarus and daughter-in-law, Theresa Barbarus, as well as, two grandchildren, Donella Perez-Barbarus and Alexandra Kramer, sister, Mary Eberharter, uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and sister, Pauline Barbarus. Visitation Thursday, June 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Columbia Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Friday, June 8, 2007, St. George Catholic Church, 5306 13th Ave. S. in Seattle at 12 noon. Interment at Calavary Cemetery.
