Dear Karin & Carl,
I love the picture you chose of your father—the smile I'd like to remember. Both Ted and I are so sorry that you could not have had more time with him, but I feel sure that he felt well loved and cared for over the past few months. You gave him a great gift! And remember, also, how many people keep the two of you in their hearts. With love always . . .

Dear Karin and Carl,
What a wonderful thing you both did—caring for your dad over the past few months. Both Ted and I have been touched by this—it is not always an easy thing to do. We are so sorry that you could not have had more time with Ron, but I feel sure that he felt cherished and content with the care that surrounded him. What a gift! You know that you both have our love and support. Always–Aunt Cathy

My dear friend Karin,
I know we've spoken via phone, but it only seemed right for me to post a message to you here as well. I am in awe of the gracious space and care you showed to your dad over the last few months. You provided him with a chance to be comfortable in your home with love all around.
I am sorry for your loss.
I love you,
Heather

Dear Karin and Carl,
The memories of your dad are a blessing to all of us who knew him. I am touched with the words that you used to describe his life -- a life that knew the joy of family and one that was personally acquainted with God in His creation. I would be honored to attend the memorial for your dad in April. May the love from your family and friends here fill the holes in your hearts.

Karin and Carl, memories of your father will be a blessing to all of us who knew him. The photo you chose is how I remember him and I am very touched with the words that you used to describe a life that was not all consumed with work, but a special life that was full of the joys of family and was personally in touch with God in His creation. I would be very honored to attend the memorial you have for him in April. May the love from your family and friends here fill the holes in your hearts.
