REUBEN J. GEISZLER

Reuben J. 'Jim' GEISZLER Reuben (Jim) Geiszler, 86, of Greenbank, died May 8, 2011. He was born July 25, 1924 in Gackle, N.D. to John and Christina (Klein) Geiszler. He began his career in construction as a young man in North Dakota. In 1951, he moved to Seattle, where he worked in residential construction. He was also a skilled finish carpenter. Jim married Elizabeth Gepner on January 21, 1996 and together, they built a wonderful life together. They enjoyed spending winters in Mesa and summers on Whidbey. They are members of the Oak Harbor Lutheran Church. Jim is survived by his wife Elizabeth and four children: Kathy Geiszler (Doug Wilson) of Brooklyn, NY; Maureen Naatus of University Place, WA; Daniel Geiszler ofSan Jose, CA; and Gail Martin (Dale) of Woodinville, WA; five grandchildren, one great-grandson; and one brother Erwin Geiszler (Eileen) of Napoleon, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Oak Harbor Lutheran Church.
