To the family of Mr. Brattain,
My deepest sympathies go out to your family. Although I'm sure Buzz is resting with the Lord, he will certainly be missed. Some of my finest childhood memories were spending time in his barbershop with my uncle John. In fact, on my 10th birthday Buzz said I was a man now and gave me my first ever straight razor shave. He lathered me up and shaved me with the precision of a surgeon. I know the loss must be tough but remember that we shouldn't be afraid, because the good Lord awaits on the other side.

Annette aka Nettie....I actually had been reminiscing recently about your dad and our childhood friendship. I was wondering how you all were doing and am sorry for your loss.
I recently told my brother Maurice of my fond memories when I would come spend weekends with you at Buzz's and he would take us every time to a pancake house where we would have Strawberry waffles with whipped cream. It was such a treat! Also remember him often dropping us off to go skating. He was the coolest dad who teased us a lot. I also remember he always smelled good. Great cologne/aftershave! I am sure you and your family hold many special memories and hope you find comfort in them.
Sending you my sympathy and caring thoughts,
Nanette aka Frenchy
