Richard "Dick" Stumpf

On Nov. 18th, while being cared for by his three loving children and with the help of Hospice, Dick finalized his journey on earth in the comfort of his home of 40 years in Federal Way. Born in West Seattle in 1930 to Fred and Elsie Stumpf, Dick graduated from West Seattle High in 1948 and joined the Marine Corps in 1950. After serving for 2 years he began working as a butcher with A&P. His entire career was in the meat industry retiring from Associated Grocers in 1995. Dick married Jean Ramey- St. Louis of White Center in Jan. 1953 and was preceded in death by her. Richard is survived by their children Dawn, Bob and Patti, his grandchildren, Virgil, Nichole, Peggy and two siblings Elaine and Allen.

We will all miss him dearly and may he Rest in Peace. He will be interred with his loving wife of 60 years at the National Cemetery in Covington. Donations may be made in his name to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots.
