I consider myself a very fortunate individual having known my father all of these years and I will be forever touched by his examples and stories. Just a couple of weeks ago my wife Dana was able to meet him for the first time and that was something which I will never forget. He glanced over at me, winked with his right eye, and I could almost hear him say to me: "Danny Boy, Danny Boy the pipes, the pipes are blowing... And don't worry Dana, beneath Daniel's rough exterior -- beats a heart of gold.

Dad, it’s finally time for you to rest your callused hands of strength and sweat, and be at your wife's side for eternity. This, in the glory and solitude that can only be God's creation -- and that place is heaven. Your hard work here on earth is now completed and it is time for you to go to your final reward. God be with you my old pal, and until we meet again -- may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Love always,
Your son forevermore,
Daniel Joseph

Thank you every one for your thoughts and prayers. My Grandpa Early was such a great strong man, and I was lucky enough to spend as much time as I did with him. He will never be forgotten. Below is a link with the pictures from the funeral slideshow if you would like to take a look.

All-- I have such wonderful memories of Uncle Dick and Aunt Margie, they were both so always full of laughter. I will never forget Uncle Dick saying anytime he saw me "you were the most beautiful baby". Memories to last a lifetime you will always be in our hearts. My love and prayers go out to all my cousins and their families at this very difficult time. Love, Denise

Dearest All -

Our Very Deepest Sympathy to each of you. Your Father was very special to us and we had known him for a very long time since shortly after he came home from The Korean War. He was a brave man who served his country well in its time of need. He was a wonderful Father and Family Man and dearly loved by your Mother, Marjorie Helen.

We shall keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

Our love to everyone.
