Robert A. Kupfer

Robert passed away at home, in his sleep, on September 30, 2013. Born in Bluffton, Minnesota on December 25, 1919 to Charles and Minnie Kupfer,one of 11 children. He was a WWII Army veteran fighting in the Pacific. On September 9, 1947 he married Doris Maroney and they had one daughter, Sandra. They moved to Seattle where Robert worked for Seattle City Light as a Lineman's Helper retiring in 1982.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Jim) Lapenski, granddaughters Lisa and Shari Cable, 5 great grandchildren and 2 sisters. He lost Doris, his wife of 61 years, in 2009. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 10:30a.m., Holy Rosary Catholic Church Chapel in West Seattle followed by a reception at that site. Burial in Tahoma National Cemetery.
