Robert Leo "Bob" Burns

1950 - 2017 Obituary Condolences
Robert Leo "Bob" Burns Obituary
Robert "Bob" Leo Burns

Beloved father, grandfather and friend lost to a heart attack on September 10, 2017. He is survived by his four children, son Brian Burns and his wife Kim, daughters Katherine Burns, Colleen Burns, and Allison Burns; his two grandchildren Haley and Autumn; his two sisters Helen Cackette-Burns and Linda Nelson; his niece Laura Cackette and nephews Joel Nelson, Roger Nelson and David Cackette; and the rest of his family and friends.

Bob was born in Seattle on September 5, 1950. He graduated from Ingraham High School and continued on to serve in the Coast Guard and receive a Bachelor's of Construction Management from the University of Washington. A devoted Husky and football season ticket holder, he reminded us that real dawgs wear purple.

Bob retired from Boeing after over 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed what he called the four F's: Family, Food, Fun and Football.

He was a generous father and friend, kind to all he met. His patience and heart for others will leave him forever loved, deeply missed and remembered with a smile. His dad jokes will keep us laughing always.

The memorial service will be held from 1:00-4:00 PM on Friday, September 15th, 2017 at

Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE Seattle, WA 98155.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the Virginia Mason Foundation or the Jubilee Women's Center.
