RONALD RUTHERFORD Obituary

Ronald Keith RUTHERFORD Born February 28, 1930 to Flora Evelyn and Ronald France Rutherford, Keith was a lifelong resident of Seattle. He died on January 18, 2011, at the age of 80. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and the University of Washington, and served proudly in the U.S Navy. Keith and Carol A. Blye were married in 1953 and had two sons, Scott Keith and Michael Kevin. In 1973 he and Elizabeth 'Beth' Edison were married. Keith was a devoted husband and loyal friend. He enjoyed golf and excelled at and took great pride in designing, building, fixing, and making just about any and everything better. He took pleasure in solving the world's problems with good friends during regular get-togethers over morning coffee. He is survived by his wife Beth, step-son Scott Edison (Emily), son Michael Rutherford, grandson Daniel Rutherford, and granddaughters Teri (Aaron) Bagwell, Sydney Rutherford, and Elyse Edison; great-grandchildren Timothy and Annika Bagwell, and niece Marleen Weaver. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and son Scott Rutherford. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Keith at a celebration of his life on Monday, February 28, 2011, 2:30 p.m. at the Queen City Yacht Club, 2608 Boyer Ave E, Seattle, WA 98102.
