Ron went home to be with the Lord on May 29th. He leaves behind his beloved wife Maureen, two loving children Anne and John, and seven loving grand children.
Ron was born in Shanghai, China and left when he was seven years old on the last boat out before World War II with his Mother Sylvia, who is now 107 years old.
Ron enjoyed learning and did very well in school. He graduated from the UW with a BA in finance and investments. He earned his MBA in finance and investments at Northwestern University. He was also a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College and was a Lieutenant Colonel.
He owned and managed his own finance business for 35 years as a CFA. He was also published in the WSJ as well as listed in Who's Who in the West and Who's who in Finance.
Ron was strong in his faith and had many hobbies: kayaking, family outings, fishing. He was a devoted Father and Husband and a world traveler that always relished new adventures.
He was a lucky man. He had the love of two wonderful woman that adored him dearly. He was with his first wife, Kathleen for 50 years and his second wife, Maureen, for six.
Ron, you will remain in all our hearts forever and be greatly missed. May you rest in peace.
Services will be held at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church at 10:30 a.m. on June 26th, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in his name to Fred Hutchins Cancer Research Foundation.
