I will always remember Russ. Although I have never met him, I talked with him for over 20 years on the ham radio. He was the KING of many ham nets and everybody talked with KA7HVA. We have missed him since he stopped being on the nets and will always be sad about his passing. He was a fine man.

Dear Aunt Terry and Family,
I wish I had so many of the firsthand memories that you, my six cousins, my parents, grandmother, second cousins and others had throughout the course of your lives. Completing that sentence, I realize I am thinking from my own perspective, and what about all the others Uncle Russ touched whom I never met? To think of the profoundly uplifting quality with which he touched all these lives, and that he lived 97 years in so doing, is to realize that he must have had and earned a tremendous amount of grace. With God's blessing, it was shared with us for so long. May all who were so touched be held kindly, and heal surely of the loss of such a man. I am grateful beyond measure for his presence in my life, so you who had more time together really were the fortunate ones. Be well.
With Love and Prayers,
Frank Gallagher (and Janet Smith)

Dear Terry & Family,
So many memories of Russ working with him at "the Telephone Company (PNB)". I will always remember his smile and laugh and his stories of building boats in your backyard!! I have several of the bookmarks he painted, they are special. He was one of a kind! My husband Dick also worked with Russ and together we send our prayers to all of you.
Sincerely, Cathie & Dick Boyce
