Shau Fong LOUIE Passed away peacefully at Kin On Health Center on April 27, 2011, at age 95. She was born November 26, 1915, in Toisan, Kwangton Province, China. She came to the U.S. in 1949 and raised a family of four while working in the family restaurants: the Atlas Café and the House of Hong. She was predeceased by her husband, Louie Hong. Survivors include three sons: Mon Faye Hong (Janie) and James Louie, both of Seattle, Hugo Louie (Chon) of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter, Susan H. Woo (Ken) of Seattle; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Butterworth Funeral Home, 520 West Raye Street, Seattle, WA 98119. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kin On Health Center or your favorite charity. The family wishes to thank the staff of Kin On Health Center for their compassionate care of our mother for the last few years.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
