Sheri Pardi Obituary

Sheri PARDI Sheryl (Sheri) Jean Biehl Pardi, 46 of Redmond, Washington, passed away on March 13, 2011. Sheri was born November 12, 1964 to Robert Eugene Biehl and Margaret (Peggy) Rose White Biehl in Ketchikan Alaska. Sheri is survived by her husband Tony Vincent Pardi, her children Miranda Renee and Matthew Vincent Pardi, her mother Peggy Biehl Beers, her sister Kelly Allyn and a large extended family. Sheri is predeceased by her father Robert Biehl and her sister Barbara Biehl Bates. After graduating from Interlake High School in Bellevue WA, Sheri began a career in banking, starting out as a teller. Her career in banking ended in mortgage lending as a loan processor. After banking she started her dream job by becoming a mom. Sheri loved being a mother and everything that went with it. Sheri spent countless hours actively supporting her children in all of their activities. When her daughter's soccer team needed a coach, Sheri volunteered even though she knew very little about the sport. In addition to coaching, Sheri also volunteered as a referee. She spent countless hours volunteering at the schools on Education Hill from elementary to high school. That was in essence, Sheri. If someone needed something, she was there to lend a helping hand. Friends and neighbors always sought her counsel. They knew they would get sound practical advice. Sheri volunteered for several years in many positions for Redmond West Little League. When not helping out behind the scenes, Sheri could be found behind the backstop at home plate in her chair with a scorebook in hand. She was an accomplished seamstress, but she loved designing and creating costumes for theater even more. She was the Costume Designer for Second Story Repertory Theatre for about five years. She also created costumes for other local theaters as well as the drama programs for Redmond Junior High and Redmond High School. It was no surprise that her favorite holiday was Halloween. Sheri's friends and neighbors knew her as a caring person that would do anything for anyone in need. She never said no and she hardly ever accepted a no when offering to help. While battling health issues for the last three years, her biggest concern was not for herself but the fact that she could not do more for others. Sheri was loved by many but most especially by her loving husband Tony, her beautiful children Miranda and Matt and her mother Peggy and sister Kelly. Sheri will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Sheri can best be honored not by making a monetary donation to a charity, but by volunteering your time to a neighbor in need or a school or sport that needs more volunteers. Sheri fully understood that it takes a village. Sign Sheri's on-line Guest Book at www.Legacy.com.

Dear Tony-
We just want to say that Sheri was so welcoming to us as a family when we first moved to Redmond from California. She invited us to numerous parties and barbecues. She was such a warm and caring person. We are so sorry for your loss.

Tony,

Natalie came home from RHS with the sad news. We are SO SORRY! Sheri was a joyful person who delighted in being of assistance to others using her skills. We remember her well from Miranda's and Natalie's younger soccer team days. We still have the photos that you and Sheri took of all the kids on the team. Praying for your comfort.

Tony,

I was heartbroken to hear of your loss. You and I coached against one another starting in T-Ball down at Redmond Elementary. It seemed as though Sheri was always volunteering for something. It was because of the volunteer efforts of people like yourself and Sheri that we have so many wonderful programs for kids.

My son, James, came home from school one day last week, and said that Matt was telling some kids that his mother had passed away. I am so sorry for your loss.

Tony, Miranda and Matt, our hearts are broken, but we are so happy for the many years Sheri brought light and laughter to our neighborhood. The way she always left the garage door open during the day was such a welcoming and inviting gesture. She was always the best dressed creature who rang our doorbell on Halloween, and we've been missing the many hours of conversation out in our driveways ever since we moved. Our hearts go out to you.

Tony, You, Miranda and Matt were blessed to have Sheri in your lives. The first time I met Sheri was when 7 of us (Tony's East Coast Family) came out to stay at their house for a fishing trip. Sheri was a most gracious host, cooking Breakfeast, lunch and dinner for all of us. She checked on all of us before going to bed and made us feel at home. I will remember her smile and the love she shared with us.

May God Bless you and your family.

I was privileged to have known Sheri. We worked together designing costumes for theatre productions and as was her true style, became friends. When last we spoke it was never about her struggles, but how I was doing. I will miss her sweet face, her kind heart and her endearing optimism. Words at this time seem so inadequate to express the vacancy her passing leaves in all our hearts. My deepest sympathies to her husband Tony, and children Miranda and Matt. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

She is the dearest friend I will ever have. When I grow up I want to be just like her! I wish there were something I could do to make the days ahead easier. When you get the urge to cry, which will be often, think of something about her that made you smile or laugh. I love you Sheryl and will think of you every day. Shelly Huffman
