Sherry Lee KNAPP nee Edwards Born 1/15/1936 ~ Died 4/16/2012 Loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister, passed away peacefully on 4/16/2012 after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles Knapp (Chuck), her four children, Chuck Jr., Kerry, Jami and Kyle; five grandchildren , Alora Knapp, Kevin Knapp, Kendall Brossow, Cameron Brossow and Kaci Knapp; sisters Gretchen and Wendy; she was predeceased by her sister Jane. Sherry was born in Tacoma, WA to Marion and Gretchen Edwards; the eldest of four girls. A 1953 graduate of Ilwaco High School she also attended Oregon State University and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She married Charles Knapp on April 2, 1954 in Long Beach, WA. She was a tax consultant and bookkeeper and resided in Bellevue for over 40 years. Services and Remembrance will be held May 10, 2012 at 4PM at Saint Thomas Church, 8398 12th, Medina, WA 98039.
