So sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. I only knew her from corresponding about our genealogy. Seems we are related to the Mencarelli line. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at such a difficult time. Till we meet again, Shirley...

To Shirley's wonderful family: I was shocked to see Shirley's obituary in our Fresno Bee. Shirley and I were good friends from 1941 to 1946. She lived across the street from us during that time. Our parents had been friends from before we were born. Last time I saw Shirley was just after the birth of her first baby. We sort of lost track of each other after that but I kept in touch with Mrs. Mencarelli for many years. Such a wonderful family. You are all in our prayers.

I met your Mom at Curves (exercise) and we became instant friends. I feel like I know all of you as she kept me abreast of your activities. I met Mealani on several occassions when your mom was taking care of her. I feel your loss. She was a great gal. I always checked to see if the drapes were open as I drive by on Bothell Way as I also live in Kenmore.
My deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Shirley has been a part of my entire life. She lived next door to me when I was young, I was at her wedding, I watched as her family grow. I have such fond memories of Shirley in my life. Shirley will truly be missed by all that knew her. God be with you.
